Sushi Cafe Gotchi Balanga, Bataan
I went again to Balanga City here in Bataan. My only goal for today is to look for random restaurants that I don't know. I found this place called Sushi Cafe Gotchi, it is a small Japanese restaurant. Well, it looks more of a small diner for me. It was an eight minute walk from the Plaza, so I suggest that you ride a tricycle to get there.
I ordered Tonkotsu Ramen and Gyoza. Before I proceed, I found this place with the help of google. I searched for a restaurant near me and I saw some Japanese restaurants, well I love Japanese food that's why I chose the one with the highest rating.
The taste of the ramen is satisfying enough. The Gyoza is a little burnt but it is also decent enough. I just thought that it's a little pricy for the quality that I got.
If I am going to rate my experience here based on different criteria, the result will be:
- Taste - 8 / 10
- Price - 7 / 10
- Food Presentation - 6 / 10
- Staff friendliness - 10/10
- Cleanliness - 10/10
I gave them perfect ten for staff friendliness and cleanliness because they really deserve it. For the taste, it's okay. I just felt like it's a little pricey because of the amount of meat. I usually eat more deliciously filling ramen in Manila.
For food presentation, ramen should be pleasing to the eye as well. The first thing I noticed in my bowl of ramen is the meat, it's so small. Though, the amount of noodles is okay for me. It's enough to fill my stomach.
Here's a photo of the bowl of ramen I ordered.
When it comes to the Gyoza, I think it is delicious, it's just a little burnt.
Here is the Gyoza that I ordered.
If I'm going to be asked if I will recommend this restaurant, I think I will. It is not fancy but the food is delicious enough to satisfy someone.
If the owner of this restaurant will be able to read this review, I'm not suggesting you to lower your price, but, maybe you can work on the quality of the food that will justify the price. Well, to be honest, the meat on the ramen had a big impact in my opinion.
