I don't believe in equality. Here's why!

Are you one of those people who fight for equality? Sorry to disappoint you, but there's no such thing as equal. Before you get angry, let me tell you my side first.

For me, equality is just an illusion. It doesn't exist. From the time we were born, none of us where born equal.

We were not born with the following equally:

  • Physical appearance
  • Wealth
  • Gender
  • Priviledge

These are just few of many things that we don't have when we were born.

Another thing, for me seeking equality is just a disguise of seeking dominance. We all fight for all sorts of equal rights, or some other form of rights. Have you ever thought that at some point you are already hurting the other party / parties because of what you are fighting?

I know this is a sensitive topic to discuss, but I've been hearing and reading stuff about equality. It's kind of annoying already to be honest.

It is like people were just looking for an excuse to be dominant over someone. Don't get me wrong, it is just right to fight for your rights. But, please make sure that your intentions are pure.

If I don't believe in equality, what do I believe in?

Well, I believe in fairness. Yes, that's right!

Most of the time, we see things as unfair. But, have you ever thought that it's the other way around? We reap what we sow. People treat us as they see fit. Same goes to you, you treat other people as you see fit.

Let's go back to the things that we don't have equally when we were born.

  • Physical appearance - Accept who you are and treat everyone right and you'll look good in the eyes of people around you.
  • Wealth - Work hard, hard work pays, it just takes time.
  • Gender - Treat opposite sex with respect. Don't wait them to respect you first before you give respect, that attitude is annoying.
  • Priviledge - Work hard, prove to yourself that you can lift your status.

See, life is just fair. We were given different situations in life, but, we were given chances to improve ourselves.
