The complex of biologically active substances of plant origin, which are part of the drug, normalizes the protein-synthetic function of the liver, stimulates the recovery of liver cells, has a choleretic effect, protects the liver from toxic substances (alcohol, drugs, etc.), and helps to improve the digestion process. It has a powerful antiviral activity, as well as regulates the level of liver enzymes, neutralizes toxins and helps to optimize liver function.
Indications for use
As a therapeutic and prophylactic for
- acute hepatitis A;
- acute and chronic hepatitis B and C;
- fatty hepatitis;
- toxic hepatitis, incl. medicinal products;
- alcoholic liver disease;
- Precirric states;
- In the course of prevention of hepatotoxicity of antibiotics, antituberculosis, antipyretic drugs, contraceptives and other hepatotoxic drugs, prevention of anorexia in the course of radiation and chemotherapy.
Precautions of Hepasky Drug –
As we already mentioned above that the drug belongs to the category of detoxicants therefore, it doesn’t have pronounced contraindications. However, the drug is not recommended for the children who are under 6 years of age.
And it should be given with great care to the elderly as well as to the patients suffering from acute gastric diseases.
Furthermore, it is also forbidden to give to pregnant and lactating mothers. And lastly it is not recommended for the people who have cholelithiasis.
Allergic reactions and dyspeptic disturbances are possible; rarely - loosening of the stool in patients with a history of digestion and absorption and/or diarrhea.
Interaction with other drugs
HEPASKY reduces the concentration of ibuprofen in blood, possibly due to a slower absorption. The drug reduces the bioavailability of tetracycline and doxycycline.
